Air Pre Heater Manufacturer

Air Pre-heaters are basically heat-exchangers installed in the exit flue gas duct of the boiler. The purpose of the air pre-heater is to recover the heat from the boiler flue gas which increases the thermal efficiency of the boiler by reducing the useful heat lost in the flue gas.

For every degree that the incoming air is heated, that result in less energy required from the boiler. In other words, an air pre-heater saves energy by doing some of the heavy lifting done by the boiler in order to raise the incoming fluid to the appropriate temperature.

Faqs Of Air Pre Heater

What is an Air Pre Heater (APH)? + An Air Pre Heater is a heat exchanger that heats combustion air before it enters the boiler furnace, using heat recovered from flue gases.
How does an Air Pre Heater improve boiler efficiency? + By recovering waste heat from flue gases to preheat incoming combustion air, it reduces fuel consumption and increases overall boiler thermal efficiency.
What are the main types of Air Pre Heaters? + The main types include tubular air preheaters (recuperative) and regenerative air preheaters (rotary).
What industries use Air Pre Heaters? + They are widely used in thermal power plants, chemical industries, sugar mills, paper mills, and textile processing plants.
What maintenance is required for an APH? + Regular cleaning to prevent soot build-up, checking for tube leakage, and inspecting structural integrity to prevent air-to-gas leakage.
